Hey all

I saw the Baba version of this movie recently. Great film - but the Baba version has the whole wedding segment missing (as stated by the review posted above.) What a shame - one of the most famous and important scenes of the movie is missing in the DVD.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the GVI dvd or Shemaroo VCD is the full version of the film?

I do hope that Shemaroo releases it soon ... or that Sanjay Dutt takes on the preservation and re-release of his Dad's legacy.

Did Shemaroo release this on DVD? Or did they only release it on VCD? I have a songs DVD by S'maroo in which the song "Tu Chanda Main Chandni" is included and the print is pretty worn out, as far as I remember. I suspected that it was a VCD upscale. I don't have the disc anymore. So I can't confirm.

BTW, I think that the disc was authored in Shemaroo's early days. (2003 or somewhere around that time) as the menus have the old, golden Shemaroo logo. And these posts where made in 2008. So there's no chance there could've been a DVD of the movie by shemaroo before 2008
