Screen caps look very dark. We have the Vhs Water USA print which has a brighter picture and it doesn’t have dark print like the Mongrel screen caps here. The Vhs Water print looks good.

Just got the Eagle dvd from India. Was pkd in Apr 07.
Looks like same transfer as US used.
It is progressive NTSC anarmorphic and on one disc.

special features are audio commentary, behind the scenes, and making.

EAGLE - how's the audio on Eagle - have they managed to do a good true 5.1?

BTW, there are at least three 2-disc editions:
1) R1 - the one discussed here with alt English version on disc 2
2) R1 again with French version??
3) R2 - to be released in Oct - details unknown

That French cover is likely an alternate cover for the Canadian version of the DVD.

I think the one with the French cover has the Hindi-audio and French-audio editions of the movie... I saw this on amazon.com (could not find this on amazon.ca)
