Who is the MD for this. He must have been an IR admirer or atleast he must have seen Nayagan many many times before doing BGM for this. Good BGM,probably the best in the recent hindi movies I saw (Paheli, Parineeta & Sarkar apart from this!)

SOME of the background music reminded me of Mani Sharma ;) The soundtrack itself is a compilation of songs from other albums as per reviews. The "Shri Ganeshaya Dheemahi" song also reminds me of Mani Sharma/Ilaiyaraaja. It was a "duo" Ajay-Atul. Shankar Mahadevan rawks!! It reminded me of Mani Sharma to such an extent that I had to verify who the musicians were. Various Artists. HEh

As for the movie itself, I'm glad it didn't have song/dance sequences. We were able to finish the movie within 2 hours (I think). The plot itself isn't very good, but this DVD is worth it for Big B & the evergreen Sharmila!! Damn she is "too cute" in this film! This auntie looks much better than Soha! She outshines Anousha Dandekar(?). Though Anousha looks good, she is there for eye candy only, was her voice dubbed in by someone else? I wanted to throw my boots at her throat due to dialogues. John/Sanju are adequette.

the highlight of the film isn't the plot itself, but the relationship between an aging couple in the first half! first half is wonderful. wasn't not pleased entirely, so tamil directors, don't make films entirely like this ;)

I just watched the DVD of this film (of course, I saw it in theaters when it was released) and was surprised by the "deleted scenes" Special Features: Most of those scenes were excellent. In fact, barring the "alternative ending," I think every one should have been incorporated in the film. Does anyone have any thoughts regarding this matter? Thanks. 8)
