Oh so they don’t have the "rights" in US i guess . If that is the case then what themahal.com is doing is not illegal - i don’t think there is anything that stops people from selling imports ( there are so many US e-retailers who do it yesasia, DVDasian (?) , xploitedcinema etc.) , in fact these days imports seem to be a staple for me :)

DU - please don’t take it the wrong way ( I support you and your store and have sworn allegiance to it :) ) , but I think there is nothing ayngaran can do ( at least from what i know ). infact i think you are hurting your business by not carrying it ( i will wait for the relatively 'better' aygaran version , but i know people who will buy this in a hearbeat and care less about quality !)

My 2 cents

Pav, is Trisha ur fav now (after Pavatharini got engaged?)

No 'Pavatharini' will remain my favorite for life-times to come. As for Trisha, she is really cute but nothing special for me to go gaa-gaa over. There are plenty of other birds that I like in the film world. I prefer local girls ;) plenty a good lookin birds.

No not at all. I know that, but the problem and difference between them and us is that we have an address and a retail store, which can be raided. Once there was an "issue" with "the" other site and the owner simply said "I am not the owner" - but poor guys didnt know that the name is all over the place including domain.com.

This is a debate I and my other friends are going over for a while, whether to carry them or not. Since we are not carrying them, others are "overpricing" the product also. I am gonna be gone for next 3 weeks, but when I come back, I will put a closure to this.

I talked to the guys at Ayngaran in Paris. They are saying Ayngaran has given/sold the rights to Pyramid and that there won't be any Ayngaran release of the movie Anniyan.

What is going on?....

Thanks Man - As "expected" it sucks , i means its new movie cant they do better than this  :bangbang:

is the framing right (seems vertically stretched – or is it only me ?) and on top of this they have digital watermarks on all the scenes - un-believable !

Now why would Ayngaran give away the distribution rights to probably/potentially THE most profitable DVD this year
