I just bought a copy of Lucky, make some screenshots after this post .
I don't know which version I have, but in the song of Sun Zara there aren't any promo's during the song . Also on this DvD there aren't any special features . This DvD looks original (Hologram, I know that doesn't mean anything ) & the guy was 100 % sure this is original.

Name on the cover isn't misspelled. The S (Salman KhanS) is meant for Sneha Ullal. On the Disc & on the back cover the name is correct. It's unprofessional of Eros, but mistakes can be made .

Hey SnakeEye, thanx a lot for the caps and info, I really appreciate it! I was so shocked when I heard about some ads floating around thru the movie! But since you said the DVD is good, I'm glad! My friends also have the DVD and have never complained about ads, so I don't know if it was a bootleg DVD someone had that was a copy of the original and the people who made it put the ads; it is possible.

Thanks for the proper screen shots SnakeEye I copied them onto zulm servers. Could it be that these ringtone ads are on the subtitle picture? ie they only appear if you have subtitles enabled?

The subtitles shouldn't have anything to do with whether this ad shows or not.. regardless, if the ads are there, they would show subtitles or not

Errr if the ads are placed in the subtitle pictures then they'll only appear if subtitles are turned on. If you had any knowledge of how subtitles are encoded on DVDs then you’ll understand how this is possible. Not saying this is case of the Lucky DVD, but technically it is possible.

If checked it with & without subs (My girlfriend hates the song now ). I don't see any ringtone ads . I'll look the movie tomorrow (Wanted to see Tango Charlie today, which is a good movie btw ).

Umm.. when did I say it WASN'T possible for there to be ads? As you said, I do not know how subtitles are encoded, but I wasn't referring to the ads being on the bottom where the subtitles are, I thought the ads were where the EROS logo come on, in the top left corner.. anyway, when I get my Lucky DVD, which should be soon, I'll check it out to see if there are indeed any ads

Can someone provide a shot with this ringtone ad ? I'm curious about it now .

The DVD, which I rented says "Lucky-dvd1" in Windows Explrer with size 7.38GB.
The DVD has Special Features including Deleted Scenes.
