Word! Leave it to Yash Raj to gyp us of behind-the-scenes footage, director's commentary and the other extras that make DVDs worth having. I e-mailed them today inquiring about the special features. Let's see if they even bother to respond.

http://www.dvdpricesearch.com is the best price engine for the US. But unofrtunately most of those stores dont stock Inidan DVDs. You could find things like Lagaan there

I was wondering why there were no special features listed under the K3G DVD release. Director Karan Johar, recently revealed on an interview with the AVS Television Network that the DVD release would include 30 minutes of deleted footage, interviews with the cast, plus a 45-minute making-of documentary. Wat A Freakin Rip...CHOPRA IS A BASTAD GUY... come on they are screwin us good... cause u know that all the aunties and teenie weenies will buy this as soon as it comes out... then the rerelease will not get bought...will ppl be really willing to buy the 2 disc set or not.. i dont know... i know at least 20 ppl who will buy this as soon as its out... i had to fight with em to not get the pirate... this is messed up.... i think as usual the common desi is screwed... i may end up havin to buy both dvds... similar to the 2 disc hum apake hain koun fiasco... and i wanted to be a vendor for these guys....

Regardless of what YRF say, there is a destined 2 disc collectors disc coming in the future. This one disc release is too little too late to fight any piracy. They are dozens different K3G DVDs already on the market and they've already milked the most out of customers – YRF have realised a milking opportunity and going for what is left from the people who haven’t brought pirates yet. Then what do you expect from clueless souls at YRF :doze:

Why do you guys complain so much about Yash Raj Films? You guys call them names and call their products garbage, yet when you look at your collection, you have good amount of their movies, does that make sense? I bet that they will come out with the most horrible K3G DVD next week, and by weeks end, everyone will have it, then people will just start saying "yeah, I bought it, I spent, 25$, but its so stupid, I dont like it" then why did you buy it? Thats makes alot of sense

I think I speak for most people in saying that while Yashraj make some high entertainable films when it comes to releasing them on dvd they let everyone done big time. They're use of Super Digital is one major issue. The quality tends to be poor and while the extras are decent the bare bones release of K3G is an outrage.

Karan Johar himself promised so much more from the Yashraj dvd and now with no extras it's really annoying in knowing that there will be a super edition as soon as everyone else has bought the single disk. Why should people part with good money for crap products. I think I've got my complanit off my chest now. ???

Looks like i was right 2 weeks ago when i said this dvd was releasing around on 4th march - indiancdstore will now be shipping from early/mid march!!

Apart from the Cdguru artwork, is there any other artwork available for the dvd ?

I made a quick mock to display on main site;



.. typically YRF wont release the proper cover of K3G until released. All others on retail sites are mock-ups too.

i think that we will get a shit disc coz usually what saves yashraj dvds from bieng a total blunder are the extras,and well...on this version there arent any...so..but hey..look on the bright side..at least we will get a proper 5.1 audio track(judging by last few releases)

Isn't K3G out today. Have the suppliers got it in stock yet
