Well, i have bobby shots ready, but they dont look as good as DEI dvds!I'll send it to ali, if I can get hold of him!

Arsh, I guess, the Shemaroo Bobby screen shots that Ali posted (sent by you) in
http://www.zulm.net/cgi-bin....ry31628
were taken in force weave and are for those frames that don't give combing. They may not look as good as best DEI DVDs but I think they are similar in PQ to some of the not so great DEI DVDs??

Which DEI DVD will you equate it to?? Or, would you say, these are worst than all DEI DVDs??

Thanks.

Check this thread;

..but bear in mind those are from the trailers from this Saudagar DVD, so most probably is cropped on the real DVD.

Well, surely, I did submit, but tried to avoid combing as much possible in forceweave!

Now..If combing is BAD! this dvd is not GOOD, hmm!?

Secondarily..Looking at shots, picture LOOKS fine i to me, even still it is not on par with BEST DEI's Like Satyakam, Roti Kapda, Sharmeele, But might be EQUAL to some of their other work out there, that was still prog even with not so good PQ!

But overall, this one is not BAD! If u have a proper DVD player that can Recreate frames and get rid of combing in prog play back on prog scan TV!

Thanks Arsh for the PQ comment.

Now, Let's go one step further. As Bobby is Pseudo-prog, is its re-interleaved PQ, better than other field averaged Shemaroo DVDs where re-interleaving is not possible??

My guess is, Bobby & SSS will come out far ahead of other Shemaroo DVDs??

Arsh, I am interested in PQ comparison between a re-interleaved picture from Shemaroo and picture from those Shemaroo DVDs where re-interleaving is not possible due to field averaging.

Out of the Shemaroo DVDs you mentioned, Mughl-e-Azam and SSS are Pseudo-progressive. So no point comparing those with Bobby. If Guide is not Pseudo-prog, then you can compare the interlaced pic from Guide with re-interleaved pic from Bobby. You don't need to post screen caps, just what your eye tells.

Thanks.

No. It is field averaged.

We already know that Pakeeza is one of the not so good DVDs from Shemaroo even for interlaced systems. So, no point in comparing Pakeeza with Bobby.
