Preordered my Lagaan DVD at DVDEmpire.com. Its too bad that Indiaweekly, Indiaplaza, and Indianblockbuster aren't listing the Lagaan DVD on their site as a preorder!! These stores are going to loose out on a lot of orders!! It was nice to see that Indiancdstore had Lagaan listed is a preorder, but DVD Empire was cheaper!!

That means there are millions of people out there who don't know about the Lagaan dvd.

Guys,

is there a thread for the cheapest online price on Lagaan DVD?

I am in Toronto, does it make sense to buy it from the store or buy it online...

DVDEMPIRE.COM has it for 18.17 USD -- I dunno whats the shipping + any other costs.

Toronto peeps, where are you getting ur Lagaan DVD from.. ?

Slight update from email I got from http://www.discemporium.com/ when I enquired about Lagaan DVD;

"LAGAAN SHOULD SHIPPING BY THE END OF WEEK...SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED AT WEEKEND - HELD UP A FEW DAYS....."

– I don’t know if this is a leaf out of YRF book or genuine – just too many ‘should’ in there ???

Man called Rohail: DVDboxoffice have been getting a pretty bad rep recently because of delayed delivery of DVDs - sometime taking months to appear. Check Supplier Forum -> thedvdforums.com

I ordered fight club from dvd box office and the next day I got an email that my dvd will delivered in three months time!!! And on top of that they had already charged from my card even before delivery. I don't know that was an isolated case or what but their website also did not have order tracking and there is no way you can know what you ordered just yesterday. Might seem picky but why pay for bad service?

all Rogers Video branches will carry the LAGAAN DVD on the 22nd, but only for rental purproses. If you wanna buy a copy, you have to place an order with them, and its retail price is $36.99

Why dont u get it from futureshop instead of rogers video their website is taking pre-orders at 33.99 which is 3 bucks cheaper than rogers..... and i presume they will have the dvd in store for the same price as well.... and they guarantee the best price....
