I've just ordered this from IW together with Angoor. I have seen this film on pirate DVD - been some time now. Film has feel of a low budget production; the sets, filming, cast – cheapness galore – but still it manages to work somehow. For a low budget film I thought it had it moments not many of them though.

great.. waiting for your review here for angoor and AD.

you are right, low budget production, could've been better. artiste's did have the potential to deliver better. lack of directing, editing made the overall movie an amateur release.

I did like that one shot in the garba scene at the end where the camera dollies back to reveal the entire gym. The film did have that overall low budget feel. Nothing wrong with that, but this particular film was rather blandly directed.

Quick shots - in a hurry, more later - no anamorphic, no DTS, no progressive – but PQ is pretty decent nevertheless;

Hmmm :oo: I didn’t get the second audio CD, instead I got the two of the same disc - both DVDs have the same content ??? Work that one out!

It's states twice on the packaging that the audio is DTS 5.1 – but there’s no actual DTS track, only a DD 5.1. There is a second feature length audio commentary track by the director and producer.

Video is not anamorphic but shows a very pleasant picture; good detail and excellent colours. Sharpness is not quite right but its still good. Some aliasing problems noticeable but other than its a solid picture with a average bit rate of about 7.9/Mb/sec.

Extras:
- 26 mins making of the film, pretty low quality video, highly compressed
- 5 deleted/extended scenes
- 'Development documentary'
- short film (12mins) - 'Vasarma's Lovers'
- cast filmography

Can’t comment on the extras audio CD, didn’t get it :sus:
