i would suggest AAMIR KHAN or AKSHAY KHAMA or SHAHRUKH KHAN

I think, there is a confusion, soft look for parichay was JEETENDRA..the jumping jack! Vinod was in mere apne!!

Alas Gulzar has clearly not the screen presence to last for too long. His voice certainly is the best there is, but I do believe he does not have the onscreen charisma. VK (per me) is the best at depicting his senior persona.

No confusion here Arsh. VK played Jeetu's friend (a sp. appearance) and it had him toting those black rimmed spectacles, just as Jeetu did too. This look was used to great effect in later VK movies such as IMTIHAAN (Asit Sen) and SHAQUE (Aruna-Vikas).
