Hi Lakeshore

Do you know if this soundtrack is available on CD? My Dad has loads of Runa Laila vinyl records (mainly Pakistani film and private songs) but he doesn't have this soundtrack.

Thanks

Muz.

PS. I really enjoy the questions that you post - well done and keep it up :DD:

Muz, I'm glad you enjoy those silly but fun trivia's. As far as the Runa's cut from Ek se badhkar ek goes,I really don't know if it's available (movie only had 4 songs). It's not even listed with HMV of India or Hamara CD (originally release by HMV/EMI). I have to search for this original recording in my record collection as it's there somewhere. One option you might have is to download it from the Ek se badhkar ek DVD (I hate to suggest this). And yes music was by Kalyanji Anandji.

G.S.Kohli's score from Shikari is great. It includes several great cuts including Tumko piya was covered by pop singer Anamika. Get it while you can.

Stormy, Shikari (Ajit & Helen) was released in 1964,it was a D grade bollywood version of Kingkong produced by a big studio.
G.S.Kohili did score for a few D grade movies like Faulad & Namaste Ji but never hit it big again and remained Nayyar's
assistant.
