You are Right Ganti!! I agree with you! I was the first one who got LAGAAN by CT 3 weeks ahead of release! and was so disapointed to see that DVD by CT? U know Why? Expectations!! were high thinking CT is doing it? I was comparing it to Mask of Zoro, Charlie's Angel etc!!

But Lagaan was not on par in any aspects to those dvds by CT made for hollywood!
But later I reconciled my self..consoling that we are getting hINDI FILMS by CT?? so COMPARSONS and EXPECTATIONS should be Re Adjusted!?? and I did! :baaa: ;) Now i am relatively a happy CT customer?? simple!

Dont expect it to be RIP ROAR COMEDY!! as it has been marketed..U will be disappointed!Sound is proper 5.1 and DECENT!

I'll recomend watching for just the kool portryal of SANJAY DUTT once again as LOVABLE DON!! rest is not worth it!! Sanjay stands out the solo, most natural and competent performer! IMHO, Watch if you like SANJAY DUTT!? he is KOOOOLLL!!!

Or heavy Dose of Aish, without any sense!

David dhawan had the Director's DREAM CAST to work with, cream a la cream, from main to support..But he extremely DISAPPOINTS and Falters, EVEN AB, role is ILL SKETCHED!! I did not know what he was TRYING to do??? my humble apologies to AB fans!!(Pankhas).
he does not even show GOOD CHEMISTRY with Supporting CAST?

I prefer by all means his Excellent Chemistry with GOVINDA in BMCM and even I really enjoyed his absolutely DELIGHTFUL chemistry and Comedy track with Nana patekar in KOHRAM!! But it was surprise to see a serious actor like Nana to use his comic abilities to his advantage!! I really loved his portryal of BENGALI Babu and His Confrontations with AB as Bihari Babu!! :baaa:

gosh, i don't even remember Kohraam that much - gotta rent it again I guess :wot:

HKSKN was a pretty decent flick. I thought AB was pretty funny and his comedy track with Devgan and his chemistry with Sanju Baba was really good!! That AB and Sanju song was good as was the scene where AB plays the big brother. Dutt was really hillarious in some scenes, especially in scenes featuring Aish. The first half was really funny and while the second half dragged a little, it was still atleast ok.

It's not the best movie in the world, but I thought it was pretty enjoyable. Yeah of course BMCM was better, but then again I found this funnier than Haseena Maan Jayegi, Jodi No. 1, Kyoon Ki..., Dulhan Hum Le Jaayenge and Kunwara. I'll even go so far as to say I like this better than Biwi No. 1. But yeah, don't compare this to Dhawan's earlier classics and you should be entertained.

Darius yaar! Unarguably Sanjay Dutt and his part is THE BEST in the film.period!

Rest AB/Sanjay Song, in itself..fine! But could u tell me does AB's transformation as BADA BHAII followed by beating UP of GOOD OLD GUNDAS make any sense? altogether!? no! It was only put in there because Billy Crystal portrays replacement Don to DENERO in ANALYSE THIS for a gENUINE REASON!
But in PSEUDO stupid vesion of Analyse it was Just THONSA DIYA and the GAANA bhi Daal Diya!

Well! this Film is Bhondi Parody Of Analyze this!
I found Analyze this with its 2 main character and even without HEAVY DOSE of AISH singing ,dancing and Beauty..a Lot more entertaining because of COHERENT plot! :baaa:

You found the FILM FUNNY? I can not question that! But for me it had all crap besides being Funny and Hilarious?
Pls. give me ur feed back after watching Nana/AB in Kohram? thnx

hey arsh, will give you feedback once I watch Kohraam..

I kind of remember some things - it was one of the few new decent AB flicks at the time of release (I didn't like Suryavansham). Both Nana and AB had good chemistry and they had some excellent scenes together. I remember that song too - very classic!! And the action scenes were pulled off really well!!!

One thing though, I found that Nana/Tabu song being very unintentionally funny!! I mean, here's a very serious actor doing hiphop in urban clothes LOL :D

I think, Nana/Tabu jodi needs to go in ODD COUPLE! IMHO too, It was really funny seing an actor of Nana'a Calibre, that i really think one of the finest actors we have, if he does not give us a BHASHA! His Khamoshi was SUPERB! worth 10 nationals/oscar too IMO?

He appeared quite funny and stupid running around trees and wooing Tabu, it is not his DOMAIN!
But his Comic role and scenes with AB were extremely GOOD and and a fresh surprise coming from a serious actor, along with song too, he does with AB! I think AB was very good even he has done that accent thing 1000 times before, first time for NANA!! But I found it very pleasant/comic and Funny!! They were Great Together and nana was as Spontaneous with excellent timing as AB could be at his Best! :baaa:  :p

I have rented this movie last night. I felt sorry for my self for spending 2 hours on this one. I want my 2 hours back. You know what? I felt so happy for being in the midst of EROS, Video Sound, YRF and Spark.
Just like their dvd’s the movies are also shit. So I don’t need to worry that there are producing a shit quality dvd’s. And I save my time and money.

PS: I only watched the first 2 hours so far. I felt sorry for AB in the movie. except Sanjay Dutt there is not much to watch.

Why do you feel sorry for him? He was not forced to act in this movie, right...Anyway I gave up on him the day he did the "Padosan apni murgi ko rakhna samhal"!!!

Well i enjoyed AB's performance in this movie!

REgarding him signing it.......well i had watched an interview of AB and he said the reason he did this movie was that the producer Afzal khan was the assistant director for 'satte pe satta' and he asked ab at that time if he wud work with him if he ever made a movie and ab at that time said yes......and after all these years this guy got back to AB and AB being a man of his word kept his promise! That speaks of what a great personality the man has.
