^ Did the scripting for this movie like weeks ago so cant remember it exactly but what I do remember is that the original DVD9 was too bright so I added some darkness. First tried encoding with hdragc but that created halo's all over the movie so I eventually went with Tweak and Ylevels. A tiny bit of colours added and made the movie a bit darker compared to the source.

As for Edge Enhancement, did not use too much of sharpening as the source allready suffered a lot from blocks.
Tried to get rid of most of'em but there is still blockiness left.

Indeed! Your efforts on this lousy looking source are incredible indeed!
thanks

^ Wouldn't call it incredible as I am sure that bT would have done the best job ever on this source... Too bad he retired from ripping :(

Also my NTSC encoding looked better A/R wise but couldnt figure out a way to encode the menu from PAL > NTSC in my lack of time..
Oh well, will figure that out once I have more time to do some research or even better make my own menu's myself

just add, static menue your self and be done! may be not worth the extra hassle!btw staying in pal orig code might have been easier to fix, shortcomings and not to worry about menus :D then. But I still insist on your effort is hugely appreciated.

^ I did a PAL > NTSC firs but since I didnt had time to figure out how to encode the menus's from PAL > NTSC and you mentioning in your pm you had preferred the PAL format, I then deleted everything and decided to encode it in the original format> PAL. So what you see here is PAL and not some conversion from PAL > NTSC.

Finally I got the Shemaroo version but I'm very dissapointed with it. expected a much better version from them but it appears that Ultra is much better in terms of color, clarity and sharpness.

If you have the Ultra version then stick with it. A dissapointing DVD from Shemaroo

I dont have the V4U version but I have the V4U version of Nigahen. Like Heer Ranjha it is very stretched which makes the pic abnormal. I prefer The Ultra Copy for now
