The movie itself, as an RGV fan, he is def losing his touch, or needs to step away from this genre. Having said that, it's still a must watch!

I watched Sarkar Raj in a cinema-hall yesterday, and have to agree with Yuvan. The movie is just abt watch-able... overall, it's a disappointment really.

The plot suffers from the khaki syndrome --what is revealed in the end doesn't fit in with anything that's happened before. You strain and struggle endlessly to draw links, but frustratingly, you can't... why the heck were the characters behaving the way they were and why the heck were they saying the things they were, if it was all part of the big conspiracy forced down the audience's throat in the end... why oh why!!!!

Zero marks for plot -- it doesn't make sense. Things don't add up :-(

I agree with u NewDeep, I found the film a strict OKAY. The screenplay was very weak, I think it could of been better

RGV needs to take a sabbatical from rehash, same horror, lifted and gangster flicks! with his nose in Bachan's rears!

Have to disagree - Eklavya was an awesome movie & very underrated...Talisman of course will have so many connex to Lord of the Rings...watch it get lambasted in the press & audience...why? Because once you see LOTR, there could NOT be anything possibly remotely as great as that trilogy - unless you'll wait for the 6-hour version of THE HOBBIT (yes, 2 films just for the PRELUDE to LOTR; 3hrs each of course)

The film is definitely full of plot holes; but looks like the eros dvd is one of the finest video transfers ever from eros. Is eros a 2-disc edition? The t-series dvd released in India is a 2-disc set.

beware!
t-series forgot to include the dolby digital 5.1 soundtrack on the Sarkar Raj dvd!
even though the case says 5.1, the disc only has 2.0 sound!!

updated on 7-Oct-08: A new lot has been done by t-series with 5.1 sound included!

T-series DVD of Sarkar Raj:
Disappointed fans may write to manish@tseries.net and arunkumar@tseries.net
Arun from t-series said they have sourced some pieces from the market to study them. (There's no dolby digital 5.1 audio on the T-series DVD.)

You may ask to speak with Arun or Manish at the MOVIE DVD DISCS division by dialling this NOIDA number:

Got a callback from t-series -- looks like they are investigating the matter...
Fingers crossed that they recall non-5.1 discs from the market.
