Found the DVD9 and DVDRip on BWT of this flick

This shot from WEG DVD 9 sure looks like high def as compared to the WEG DVD5 that I have.

WEG is/ was notorious to release SL (inferior) and DL (better) versions of the same film.
WEG SL DVD was 4.11 GB.

Indeed! and main film out of that should be only 3.7GB or so? Here it is 4.7 /5.4GB, so you can see, how bit rate can make a huge diff on same transfer between SL VS DL!additional GB devoted to main film works wonders!

Ijaazat has popped up on Nehaflix's 'New on DVD' section.

I doubt very much that a better version has been released. Does anyone know anything about whether it has been re-released?

It's funny that after such a long time it has just come up as a new on DVD release at NehaFlix. Anyhow - I still would like to see a good version of this movie. I may buy it once it goes down in price.
