Sameer, I agree with u...its one of the CLEAREST DVD's I've seen for a long time...IMO the one of the best from YRF so far....

I would also agree with you guys, IMO it's one of the better Hindi DVDs released in awhile!!!

Yes, it doesn't measure up to a Hollywood DVD but by Indian DVD standards it's pretty good!!!

I just picked up a copy of the original for $8.00 CDN in toronto, man I'm giving it back tomorrow ( the guy will take it I know him) this is shit man!!!

during the songs you can see the pixels when they move fast and I tried this out on my 50" TV and on my computer...I dare not try it on my LCD. Its like the shots that are put up on this forum, Its the worst DVD I've seen!! see the shot of Pretty Zinta holding the different colors of cloth look at her face man!!!

I don't know why some say its great, I'm going to try another store that will even put a sample on before I buy it and will tell them to put a song on and see if its the same...

I'm thinking if the guys who made the copies have ruined it or is the original this bad?

So where the shots that were put up on this Forum from the original or a copy of the original?

Ok i think i know wat everyone is talkin about now........k my friend had a copy of the original, not the actual original but a copy of it.....now everything was the same as the one i own....BUT wen there is lots of motion in the scenes, it gets all squared and lined and distorted......now i think this is wat everyone is complainin about.....the scene where preity is holdin the ornees is sooo clear on my dvd, u can see her face and she looks great but in his copy man she looks scary! so i think maybe all the people complainin got ripped off wit a fake!

I can't believe people are letting this release go as a good DVD. It may be a clean print, but it looks to me like it was transferred from PAL, just like the Saathiya DVD. Terrible, terrible stuff.

To think Audit-saaheb was getting our hopes up. These guys STILL haven't matched stuff DEI was releasing years ago.

I'm ticked off at Ayngaran too... just give me Kannathil Muthammital, Alai Payuthey, and Pammal K Sambandham in progressive(leave off the DTS if you don't know how to use it and keep a clear DVD transfer), and I'll be happy.

I think they purposly did this print this way, I just rented the original from my video dealer (nice guy) and watched it on the LCD at 110" it was good but not brilliant like the KG3, my KG3 dupe looks better. Alot of other regular bolly flicks look better, remember Yash Raj company is very adament about piracy and I think they made the original that way so any dupes will be total shit after you compress them.

My video guy tried to make a dupe on his own from the original and that turned out the same and all those Paki dupes out there. I have seen total of 3 different dupes from different people and they all are the same quality.

So now if you really really like this movie and you want a copy thats half decent you gotta buy the original. The dupe is just awefull.

So if this is what Yash Raj intended than he has got everyone by the balls.

But I would not buy the orginal cause the price they want for such shit they put out. IF the price was something like 20 bucks CDN then ok, but not bloody 35.00!!

It's about time people stop eating the bullshit these companies are feeding without a second thought. Dupes by the very nature are inferior in quality to the original – and when the original is poor then dupes turn out even crappier especially when the dupe makers are clueless as the original DVD makers. :doze:
