Just rent them, dont buy them. Raam is not repeatable and I didnt like it at all, but manyppl liked it, so you probably can bet $2 on it.

Kana Kandaein is a must watch, but again not worth to buy it. if you remove songs and an un-necessary fight in the end, it would have been a decent movie that I can rate it along with movies like "House of fog and sand". I just dont know when producers will be bold enough to make this attempt.

I just with that the DVD atleast comes with "Songless" version and if possible "Fightless" version also

Rented it last night - What a clichéd movie, pretty much starts and ends with all movie clichés you can find. For starters our hero's mother makes a living by selling/carrying/delivering water and our hero "grows" up to be a water scientist to solve chennai's water problems! - Now on paper this "might" looks good but on screen it sucked big time - anyways i think this is a bad film.

If I buy tamil movies, it will be either a love story or a good masala film...not thrillers etc...indian movies are better at the former.

Btw, anniyan is an exception i guess....still waiting for ayngaran to release anything.

We hae got pyramid version [peer presure] for our rentals and its soooooooooo funny. In the art work it says Anniyan in english and "Mudhal Mariyathai" in tamil.

When I like the movie enough, I buy it, otherwise I watch it once and delete it off my HD.
