I am not sure if its a problem with the source or from corruption to the files downloaded or bad codec. Sorry this is not full frame size but this just resized version.

If someone has the actual product and can do direct digital stills please post some from all over the film so we can see if there really is no HD detail on this disc.

Reports are contradictory:

http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthre ... 183&page=8
both claim good HD quality.
Lots of stills from the actual disc, please. Second hand versions are irrelevant.

Is it possible to file a complaint to Sony/BR group, and report /submit this black market release? and Lulla will be BANNED or REVOKED or Fined at least? Lets start a petition to SONY?

You guys have raised a valid point in relation to competition and consumer protection.

In my understanding, it is legitimate for Eros to sell their disks for any price through any type of exclusive distributorship. Nobody will be able to stop that. If there is no demand they will reduce the price.

However, Eros and some other studio cannot fix prices amongst them to negate competition in the open market place. For example, IMO, it will be illegal for Yash Raj and Eros to use some mechanism to establish an arrangement to fix disk prices so that there will be no competition. For example, if Eros and Yash Raj use a single exclusive distributor in the UK, that could be considered as direct price fixing which could attract massive fines. In fact even if two studios choose different exclusive distributors there shouldn't be any understanding between those two distributors, even in the form of a hand shake or even a wink to fix the prices. Price fixing is considered as a crime and attracts massive fines.

As a good start, someone could phone UK Competition Commission regarding this matter to get their opinion. Also, it is a good idea to write to major studios. I am sure that they would not contribute to break the competition laws.

Role of the CC: In markets - when it appears that competition may be being prevented, distorted or restricted in a particular market.

I've been following/posting on the one on avforums, yeh they are few on there who are adamant that OSO is proper HD and much better than Heyy Babyy Blu-ray. Eros are kings too

I would not start it all, till I see that BR with my own eyes. Rips, remasters, SS, encodes might not be fully representative!

That immense delay, audio sync might be rippers creation possibly?

I am a fool, but a curious one - I have bought the Blu-ray disc and will post screenshots once it arrives.

I have also bought some new software to capture the shots uncompressed, so they'll be as accurate as can be. Hopefully this will put an end to speculation on whether or not Eros have stooped to new lows... although I know what my guess is. :?
