having watched this film 4 times ....once at the cinema...twice on the t-series crap dvd....and more recently on the excellent aussie dvd..i fail to understand why it didn't do as well as it should have done !!!

granted it lifted idea's from usual suspects & reservior dogs BUT with its slick production values...excellent casting...vulgar dance numbers...yet even more vulgar but witty dialogues...i defy anyone not to have this film in their top ten all time bollywood great !!!!

8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I fail to understand how in the world can you call a DVD that does not even have the original 5.1 sound, excellent.

minus the 5.1 surround, this disc is very good... i wont lie to you but i think this DVD is really worth every penny.. im not bothered about the 5.1, even though i would have like it.... the optics are very important to me, more than the sound in all honesty.... anyway my amp has a neat little feature which kinda like magically converts 2ch audio into 5 ch.. and it sounds just as good... hehehehh

who cares about quality? we do
correct question would be --- where to get quality for hindi dvds? :?
BEI is the answer, but they only author old hindi films, i guess that is what happens when you care about quality in hindi film dvd market
i have not bought any hindi dvd's in a long long time? :(

Keep the R4 Aussie DVD! - knowing these Bollywood thieving DVDs guys they have probably ripped the R4 DVD and degraded the video in the process (PAL -> NTSC, progressive to interlaced) – they specialise in that

DVD UNLIMITED!! Yaar it would be nice if you can promote this product with screen shots captured in apropriate modes to see viewers comparison with T series and R4 Prog version from Australia!

Same thing there is a REBADGED MAQBOOL too, that kinda looks like REPACKADGED MUSIC INDIA dvd , unless prooved otherwise!

I will try to put some SS. I was happily selling T-Series for $8, but this product came. Interestingly couple of folks bought this $20 DVD than $8, because I told them this is "original".

FYI this company KRIA will also be releasing Sarkar (some where around end august)

BTW MAQBOOL is not officially released. Will be released by Yashraj when we all have our grand kids.
