I got my copy from Amazon.de. There will also likely be many available from German sellers on eBay.

REM's releases are hit-and-miss since they only work with the materials supplied to them rather than doing a thorough remastering job. Pardes and Taal are two of their better DVDs.

Pardes screenshots here.

Veer-Zaara screenshots here.

Swades and Mohabbatein have the same transfers as their French counterparts - screenshots here and here.

K3G is an NTSC-to-PAL conversion of the YRF DVD.

DDLJ will be released in December.

Yep, that's the one. None of these German/French releases have English subtitles unfortunately.

bugger, postage (15 euros) is more expensive than the disc. I dont want to spend that much on Taal, I only like the visuals and the music. Movie is not too good.

oh well :(

During their initial days, Shemaroo delivered an extremely poor color rendition with their newer titles (I.e., karma, taal, pardes, HDDCS, Aa Ab Laut Chale, etc.) along with a butchered aspect ratio. Happy to see an improvement in their color rendition now (see films like Rajkumar, Andaz Apna Apna, etc. by Shemaroo).
